Become a Vendor With the Better Bennington Corporation
At Better Bennington Corporation, our festivals are professionally produced, widely promoted, and designed to create vibrant downtown experiences for visitors and vendors alike.
Both Mayfest and Harvest Fest welcome between 7,500–10,000 attendees throughout the day.
Mayfest is a curated, juried event focused on handmade arts and crafts.
Not all vendors are accepted. Selection is based on quality, originality, and alignment with the festival theme.
Limited placements are available for: Food vendors, Nonprofits, Select complementary vendors
Harvest Fest celebrates the foliage and autumn season. This event features a broader mix of vendors and is not exclusively focused on handmade arts and crafts. Themed activities are produced as part of the event programming.

Applications are accepted online only.
All information below must be read in full before submitting.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
Accepted vendors will be notified and will complete payment following acceptance to secure their space.

General Participation
All Participants:
1. I agree to comply with all local and state regulations for fire, safety and health.
2. If needed, I have a VT Tax ID available through the Vermont Department of Taxes.
3. I will abide by setup and take-down rules as stipulated by the Better Bennington Corporation and remain set-up for the duration of the event. 10am-5pm for Mayfest. 10am-4pm for Harvest
Fest.
4. I agree to provide my own tent with weights and display material.
5. Notwithstanding any other indemnification clause, I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Better Bennington Corporation, its officers, employees and volunteers from any claims, demands, damages, causes of action, losses or expenses, including attorney fees, on account of injury or death of any person arising out of the defective condition of the equipment and devices rented under this agreement and/or vendors negligence in the installation of the rented equipment and devices.
6. agree not to hold the Better Bennington Corporation, its officers, employees of volunteers responsible or liable for any accident, injury, damage, theft, illness or destruction occurring in relation to Mayfest and/or Harvest Fest. Insurance for such loss, damage, or injury will by my sole responsibility.
7. I understand and agree that the Better Bennington Corporation has the right to remove, without refund or recourse, any exhibitor who misrepresents him/herself/their-self or his/her/their product.
8. Any participant not in place one hour before Mayfest/Harvest Fest opens will forfeit my spot at
Mayfest/Harvest Fest.
9. If my check is returned due to insufficient funds, I agree to replace it with a money order or cashier's check with a $35 service fee or forfeit my spot at Mayfest/Harvest Fest.
10. I understand that the Better Bennington Corporation has the right to amend or add to the rules pertaining to and governing Mayfest/Harvest Fest at any time. Additions or amendments will be circulated to participants in writing/email. Interpretation of Festival rules by the Better Bennington Corporation shall be final
11. The Better Bennington Corporation reserves the right to require cash or money order with all application received after the due date.
Vendor Specific Participation Agreement
Artisan/Crafter Participants:
1. I understand that no kits, buy/sell, or mass-produced items may be displayed or sold at Mayfest. All work at my Mayfest booth is of my own design and creation, or that of my family.
2. Images sent for Better Bennington Corporation review must be representative of work displayed in your booth.
Packaged and Fresh Food Participants:
1. I understand that no kits, buy/sell, or mass-produced items may be displayed or sold at Mayfest / Harvest Fest. All food at my Mayfest booth is of my own, or that of my family.
2. I agree to acquire all applicable licenses and adhere to all local health code requirements.
Food Court Participants:
1. I agree to provide garbage containers and to remove all trash at the close of the festival.
Dumpsters will be provided.
2. I agree to provide any electrical needs by use of a quiet generator. **any loud or fume creating generators constitute grounds for immediate removal from the festival. No outlets or extension cords will be provided by the Better Bennington Corporation.
3. I agree to acquire all applicable licenses and adhere to all local health code requirements.
Important Information
Booth Location:
All spaces are outdoors. Booth location is at the discretion of the Better Bennington Corporation. The Better Bennington Corporation will try to accommodate placement requests, but placement is not guaranteed and may be subject to change at any time.
Cancellation / Refunds:
No refunds will be made if notice is given 30 days or less prior to Mayfest or Harvest Fest. Full refunds will be given, with a cancelation fee assessed, based on how many days in advance of the festival notice was received.
Cancellation Fee Schedule:
• $35 fee 90 davs or more prior to event
• $50 fee 89-60 days prior to event
• $75 fee 59-45 days prior to event
• $100 fee 44-31 days prior to event
