Bennington County Regional Commission (BCRC)
The Bennington County Regional Commission (BCRC) was created, pursuant to 24 V.S.A. Section 4341, by the seventeen towns and villages it serves and will work with and on behalf of those municipalities to build strong, resilient, and sustainable communities, to foster economic prosperity, and to promote a high quality of life for residents of the region.
This mission will be accomplished through direct planning and community development assistance to town and village governments, through preparation and implementation of regional plans and studies, and through synergistic working relationships with local and regional organizations. The BCRC will work cooperatively with local governments to establish and advance regional cohesiveness, actively advocate for adherence to adopted regional policies, and facilitate effective communication between local, state, and federal levels of government.

Deptartment of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
Our core values—Integrity, Accountability, Professionalism, and Accuracy—guide everything we do at the DMV.
We recognize that we might be your most frequent point of contact with state government, and we take this responsibility seriously. If your experience is ever less than satisfactory, please let us know.
We invite you to explore the various services we offer. Our goal is to deliver a customer experience that rivals top retail providers. We are continually expanding our online services to make processing your transactions more convenient, whether through our website, by mail, or in person at one of our locations. While we pride ourselves on the quality of service at our walk-in facilities, we understand that there can sometimes be longer wait times.

Vermont Department of Health
We are the face of public health in Bennington County. We work with schools, employers, town offices and other groups to serve individuals and families right here in our community. We help pregnant women, new mothers and children to eat well and learn about nutrition. We provide breastfeeding support, immunizations and identify opportunities to minimize the spread of disease. We conduct drills to prepare for potential public health emergencies and support programs and policies that help all people form healthy lifelong habits. We invite you to learn about the many ways we can help you, your family and your community.
