The Bennington Free Library is dedicated to supporting the lifelong learning of our community and we encourage you to visit the library in person to learn of the many resources and services we provide.

The Bennington Sports and Wellness Center offers a number of programs to suit all types of soccer players, and athletes. Register for our Indoor Soccer Leagues, Player Development Programs, as well as Birthday Parties, Event Hosting, Volleyball Leagues, and Basketball. We have programs for youth and adult, with competitive and recreational leagues.

In recent years, due to redevelopment, the theatre team has begun putting on more than plays; they've also had comedians and bands use the space. The theatre team has also used it for new works, workshops, and community events. A true gem in the heart of downtown!

Meals on Wheels of Bennington County, Vermont, a 501(c)3, offers healthy, nutritious and tasty meals to eligible seniors over 60 years old, and to disabled adults under age 60. Hot meals are delivered to seniors in their homes or served at our meal sites, located throughout the county.

The museum contains a permanent collection of dollhouses, from a simple cape cod house to elaborate Victorian houses. In addition to the dollhouses and many dolls, there also are trains and trucks on display as well as educational toys. The museum is open Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1 to 4 pm year round or by appointment or by chance. The museum is located at 212 Union Street, Bennington, Vermont.
