Midnight Madness in Downtown Bennington

Midnight Madness returns on Thursday, July 19th to Downtown Bennington. This downtown retail extravaganza is a terrific family event and community institution with music, fun, and special bargains all over downtown.

Shops close between 5 to 7 pm to get ready. This is the perfect time to enjoy an early bird special at any of the downtown restaurants. Shops reopen at 7 pm with special promotions and fun teasers.

There are lots of activities going all all evening. Main Street is closed to traffic so people can enjoy the activities right up till midnight.

Better Bennington Corporation urges you to spend the evening with thousands of your friends who will come downtown to shop, hear the music, and enjoy the fun of Midnight Madness.

Directions

From the North: Take Route 7 South to traffic lights at Kocher Drive and continue straight ahead on Route 7 until you come to Downtown where Route 7 meets Route 9, also known as Main Street..

From the South: Take Route 7 North into Bennington, until you come to the traffic light at Route 9, also known as Main Street.

From the East: Take Route 9 from Brattleboro (exit 2 off I-91) through Wilmington and into Bennington to traffic light at Route 7.

From the West: Take New York Route 7 into Vermont, where road turns into Vermont Route 9, continue into downtown where Route 9, also known as Main Street, meets Route 7.
