Historic Downtown Walking Tour
Step back in time to experience a downtown that developed in the 1800's. This self-guided tour takes you along South and North Streets, pointing out historic sights of interest. Brochures are available at the Welcome Center. See the complete tour and map on our Downtown Bennington News Page.
Walking Potters Tour
Take a stroll through Downtown Bennington and see the elegant homes and factory sites of the family that created the 17th century Bennington Pottery Industry. The walk ends at the current site of Bennington Pottery. Self guided Pottery Tour brochures are available at the Welcome Center.
River Walk
Walk along the scenic and historic Walloomsac River in Downtown Bennington. Interpretive signage points out historic sights along the way. Maps available at the Downtown Welcome Center.
The Walloomsac Farmer's Market
Stop and enjoy Vermont farm fresh vegetables, produce, crafts and products each Saturday and Tuesday from June to October. Located on the river at Historic Bennington Station.
A "producers only" market, it showcases a wide selection of locally-grown fresh produce, flowers, prepared foods, farm products and select local arts and crafts.
Every Saturday May 10 - October 25, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and every Tuesday May 13 - October 21, 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
