Bennington Taxi is located behind Greenberg's Home Improvement Center. 

Green Moutain Express Bus Stop is on the Corner of Pleasant and School.

Yankee Trails departure is from School Street.

The Downtown Welcome Center is located on the corner of South and Elm St.

Green Mountain Express has many local routes and can connect you with Peter Pan Bus Lines in Williamstown, MA. Complete schedules can be found on their website or at the Chamber of Commerce, the BBC Downtown Welcome Center, and at the new multi-model transportation center on Pleasant Street.

Yankee Trails travels from Pleasant Street to the Greyhound station in Downtown Albany with stops along the way. The bus leaves Bennington at: 11:05am and 7:25pm.  The bus leaves Albany at: 9:15am and 5:15pm. One-way fare is $4.00, and the one-way trip takes approximately one and a half hours.  The bus runs Monday through Friday only, and is closed on NY State holidays.

Bicycles
If you just want to get around town while you are visiting, the BBC Downtown Welcome Center offers the free "Yellow Bike" program. Just stop in and borrow a bike for the day.  Available from 10am until 4pm. Driver's license is required for identification.
